Hello my friends!

Ok quick recap because I didn't explain to well last week but I met
some more relatives! We had to go pretty far so we didn't get a ton of
time to email last week. Anyways I met the niece of my great great
grandfather it was amazing she made orecchiette and focaccia and she's
92!!! It was amazing! I loved every minute of it!

But later that day we got back to Bari and we had a part member lesson
we watched the video The Will of God, it's a Mormon message, it's so
good! We talked about recognizing His will and trying to understand it
better. It went really well!

We also have new people coming to our English Course class which is
awesome because it's nice to have new people with the older ones. We
did a lot of organizing and calling because everyone is at the beach
and I don't blame them because it's just really hot...but we had a
couple of good lessons and we got some people to commit to baptism! We
are pumped!!!

Ok miracle time! So the other day we met these really cool people who
were speaking English and we had an amazing conversation with them and
then after they said okay bye. One was from Portugal and the other was
really far from Bari so we didn't get their numbers. But we totally
regretted it anyways! Then I had a feeling we were going to see the
one kid we had met and the next day we saw him! In the most random
spot near the church! It was a miracle because we met his parents and
they invited us other!!! They live pretty far but we are totally going
to!

Miracle number 2 we did this survey thing on America! It talks about
like the history and then it leads into the Book of Mormon some
Anziani in our district made it! It was amazing they are super smart!
Anziano Andersen and Bro! Anyways we talked to a bunch of people and
got a bunch of numbers! It was seriously so successful! Holler!

We also had an amazing Zone Conference! It's really amazing because
our zone is sooooo young I'm like the 2nd or 3rd oldest in our zone!
Which is crazy! Our zone is so young and they have so much faith it's
truly inspiring!

Everyone! Listen! I am far faaaaaar away from perfection and I mess up
everyday. I fall short. I say the wrong things. I just am far away
from perfect. But the most amaaaaaazing thing is that it doesn't
matter. I have my brother Jesus Christ. Because of him I'm saved
because whenever I fall short and I fall hard he is there to catch me.
We are never alone. We always have him and God at our side no matter
what. I've learned that these past 2 weeks specifically. We are never
alone why would He leave us? He wouldn't because he's our father who
is perfect in every way. I know it's true! Everyone I love you all and
I hope you have a good week!

Ciao tutti!

This week was HOT! Wow I mean it's not always over 100 but the humidity makes a huge difference! I will never complain about Arizona summer again!

This week we made a goal. To work with members and try a lot harder to bring them to lessons! It was AMAZING! We even overbooked one day! (That never happens) And we like did member splits and everything! It was awesome! We even had a family home evening with an investigator at a members home it was awesome!

We also have been helping this kid with English for this exam he had to take and he passed! We were so proud of him! His uncle is a member in the other ward so cool!
We also have this awesome newish investigator who's brother is a member from South America! He's awesome and super open! It's truly amazing! Also another English course student we are teaching is progressing a lot! She loves learning from us and we have so many amazing conversations!

Also this week we had a Leadership Conference. I'm not a leader but my companion is so I was lucky enough to tag along. So what we do is do a giant Skype call with all the leaders in the mission like zone leaders and sister trainer leaders. And the assistants and president and his wife talk about what our mission needs to work on and do trainings! It was awesome and then at the end we all asked questions and such. It was really cool!

Anyways! We have seen so many miracles this week! We are so hot and tired but we just keep having the energy to keep going somehow...and when people reject us we just become happier! It's strange but it's amazing! This transfer I am studying patience and there is a scripture I really liked

40 And now my beloved brethren, I would exhort you to have patience, and that ye bear with all manner of afflictions; that ye do not revile against those who do cast you out because of your exceeding poverty, lest ye become sinners like unto them;

41 But that ye have patience, and bear with those afflictions, with a firm hope that ye shall one day rest from all your afflictions. (Alma 34)

As a missionary and us as human beings we need patience in our everyday life to well LIVE! There are so many things that can go wrong but when we have developed patience and all of the Christlike attributes those trials and afflictions are so much easier to overcome!

Family and friends I love you all! Vi auguro una buona settimana!

Ciao tutti!!!

I'M AN AUNT!!! Welcome to the world Lucy Mae Barazoto! I could not be more excited! Everyone the family is the most important thing, never take advantage of it! Love you Lucy Mae!

Anyways so let's talk about a crazy fun week...full of ups and downs and false alarms ha! Vi spiego!

First off it is HOT and HUMID they even said it normally isn't this hot...gosh! Of course! The sweat is constant and we don't have air conditioning...but out fans are our best friends ha!

Let's talk about Wednesday morning. We decided to try some new finding ideas. Sorella Barona received an impression to go down this specific street, so we grabbed a white board and we headed out! Then we wrote....sei felice? It means are you happy? So we walk down this road filled with people. And let me tell you we looked ridiculous! It was hilarious we just had this weird energy and we were like yelling at people sei felice?! People on bikes, big groups, in the middle of the street! It was awesome some people were like heck yeah! And others kind of shrugged us off. Ha! But it felt like we were in this like cartoon or something! And we asked this guy on a bike he stopped, turned out to be an old investigator! It was crazy and he wanted to meet with the Anziani again! Then we stopped this other sweet guy who was super interested as well! Then we decided to cross the street and this guy was like I'm happy! In English...and we were like why? And he told us why, it also turned out to be his birthday so we went and got ice cream with him ha! It was the strangest but most awesome morning!

Now transfer day....so Sorella Tapia was supposed to get a greenie and then she got a call from president early that morning saying she didn't make it because of visa problems...so he told us we were going to have to be in a trio for a week or 2...that was a shock because the Anziani are a trio...now us...so we started planning for this whole week then I went to the other English course and Sorella Barona did a member spilt with this American girl. It was just a crazy day...just wait to hear what happened next. When we walked up to the church I opened the gate and I smashed my finger I heard a crack and I thought I had broken it... So I say I think I broke my finger! Because when I looked down it was immediately black. So I went and sat down and my ears started to ring and my vision went white... I thought I was going to pass out. Thank goodness I didn't! So then I was in a lot of pain my finger was gigantic and I went to the hospital that next morning to see if it was broken and the x-rays said it was OK! Don't worry family I am ok! And then later that night we got a call she is actually come so she's here and all is good ha! She is awesome and from New Jersey, Sorella Rackham!

Anyways We had a lot of people say yes to listening to us this week and a few contacts say no...we've had up days and down days...but everyday we see miracles! And everyday we feel the love of our Heavenly Father! We feel the love he has for his children who are in difficulties too. I see a lot of people without faith here but I see so much hope and I know there is a hope for all humanity! There are lots of reasons we have in our life to be happy and one is Jesus Christ! He is our ultimate Savior and I love him! I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

Love Sorella Barazoto!

Ciao tutti!!!

Oh my goodness this week was crazy! First of all Sorella Vickers is
gone. She left this morning. Quite early actually we are pretty
tired...anyways...I just want to say how much I have loved this last
transfer. This transfer went by fast and it's just crazy to be honest!
I have loved this last district we are all such hard workers and we
all work together with the work. I love that because when we are in
unity it really just makes everything run smoothing and almost
beautifully! But also I have loved the Sorelle I've lived with!
Sorella Vickers finished her mission and she finished it strong! I
just want to brag about her because she is so amazing! Her strength
and willingness to serve is such an amazing example to me! But she is
amazing and we are going to miss her!

Another this me and Sorella Barona are staying together for another
transfer we are working hard and just do working and having fun while
doing it! Sorella Tapia is getting a greenie! So we are going to have
greenie power in the house holler!!! And then Anziano Hansen left and
the biggest and strangest change is all of the Anziani are staying the
same...like no one else is leaving or coming in...there is going to be
a trio for both wards so that'll be fun plus it looks like the Anziani
will go more to the other ward so we will be the main missionaries in
our ward crazy right?!

This week we got 3 new investigators! Holla! One is an old
investigator she met with missionaries awhile ago and then we have
someone else from our English Course and then this really cool kid we
met on the street! Anyways things are looking up!!! We are trying to
build up everything and
stuff!

Also we celebrated a great 4th of July by representing in our red
white and blue! And eating burgers at Burger King ha! It was awesome!
We went around singing and stuff!

But everything is great here! The weather is hot...but we are handling
it ha! I really love it here and as a new transfer starts I just like
to reflect on my last one and what I can do better. I know I am not
perfect. And if you know me well you'll know that I am in no way
humble ha! I try to make the best out of every transfer and be the
best. But I am happy for my growth! And I know I can't do it alone
either! With Christ on my side I can only do more! I love you all have
a great week!
